Job Description:

1. Attend regular virtual committee meetings and in-person meeting during the CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting
2. Encourage open dialogue and discussion that fosters inclusivity and a safe learning community
3. Participate in the strategic planning process and other committee functions
4. Collaborate in proposals to increase diversity in APGO and ob-gyn
5. Develop the guidelines and tools to advance the new APGO standard of D&I
6. Be a resource for diversity and inclusion for member departments and APGO
7. Generate proposals for programs and sessions at meetings that address D&I

Meetings

Diversity and Inclusion committee meetings/discussions will be held as needed, utilizing e-mail, conference calls, web conferencing and add-on meetings to existing APGO meetings.
