Conclusion/ Discussion: Few women hold leadership positions compared to the actual number of women in the field of medicine.4 According to the AAMC “The state of Women Academic Medicine”4 in the 2018-2019 academic year, 48% of medical student graduates were women compared to 18% who were department chairs and deans. This presentation contributes needed faculty development in communication and work toward dispelling gender inequality and eliminating disparity of women leadership in medical education.
