ASL 2024-2025: Travel and Meeting Information
Hello Scholars and welcome to the travel and meeting info page for the APGO Academic Scholars and Leaders Class of 2024-2025.
All times below are tentative and could change slightly. If you are delayed while traveling to an ASL meeting, please text or call me at 410-610-7234.
January 2024
Wednesday, January 17, 2024-ASL Welcome Reception
Thursday, January 18-Saturday, January 20, 2024-ASL sessions all day; includes breakfast and lunch each day
Saturday, January 20, 2024-FDS Welcome Reception
Sunday, January 21-Tuesday, January 23-FDS sessions (ends by 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 23)
The ASL program begins with a brief welcome/introduction of faculty and scholars at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island in Amelia Island, Florida. Light appetizers will be served. ASL class sessions will be on Thursday, January 18 through Saturday, January 20, 2024, followed by the APGO Faculty Development Seminar January 20-23, 2024. March 2024
2024 CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting: JW Marriott Hill Country, San Antonio, Texas
Monday, February 26, 2024, 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm ASL session; includes light refreshments
Tuesday, February 27 – Wednesday, February 28, 2024 – APGO Academic Scholars and Leaders Program sessions; includes breakfast and lunch each day (ASL sessions end just before CAAM begins at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2024)
Wednesday, February 28 – Saturday, March 2, 2024 – CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting

August 2024
ASL standalone summer session: The Graduate Annapolis, Annapolis, Maryland
Thursday, August 1, 2024 – Friday, August 2, 2024-all day ASL sessions; includes breakfast and lunch each day. We will end at approximately 4:30 pm on Friday.
Please plan to arrive on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, for a morning start on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Click here to make your hotel reservation at the special meeting rate of $189/night plus tax. We are holding one room for each scholar. The meeting rate cutoff date is July 5, 2024.
There is no registration fee for this standalone ASL meeting. The closest airport is Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). It is approximately 25 miles from Annapolis. Taxis and rideshares are available the airport.
A detailed schedule for the August sessions will be posted in June.
March 2025
2025 CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting: Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Wednesday, February 26, 2025-Saturday, March 1, 2025.
Poster presentations and graduation will take place during the meeting. Details TBD.
