What are Other Ways to be Involved in APGO?

There are many ways to get involved with APGO. UMEC member David A. Forstein, DO, shares how he started:

10 years ago my department chairman encouraged me to apply to the APGO Solvay Scholars Program (now APGO Academic Scholars and Leaders Program). Prior to that I had attended a few meetings, but didn’t really know how to take my involvement to the next level.

Taking what I learned and working with other scholars in my class as collaborators, I began to submit and present at the Faculty Development Seminar and the CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting. This has led me to many other academic and social activities at APGO and participating in these meetings is a bright spot on my calendar every year.
