Theres an App for That!

Round Table Text: Objective/Background: There seems to be an App for almost everything now--‐a--days, but where do these things come from? And furthermore, how do you go about creating one? Well, APGO has just figured this out, and the members of the APGO Nausea and Vomiting of Pregnancy (NVP) App project team are excited to introduce APGOs first app, and explain the process of how a really fun educational idea can eventually become an app.Workshop Agenda: In this interactive workshop participants will be able to navigate the app and get a good introduction to its use and functionality. Following this the presenters will walk through the process of how the app was created. Interactive Component: Smaller breakout groups will then work on thoughts and ideas for future app projects to consider for the APGO app library. Take home Product: The workshop will conclude with an open discussion on apps in clinical and educational use, and we will begin to compile a list of helpful medical and educational apps to share with participants following the workshop.
